Islander Boat Center, New Yorks favorite full-service boat dealer, is now accepting winterization appointments.  Included in our winterization service is an additional 21-point safety inspection. 

Why winterize?
Engines don't like to be idle, especially over the harshest of winter environments like we can experience here on Long Island.  We hear countless stories of engines that froze and failed after owners didn't winterize their boats properly.  But even if the engine makes it through the winter, an improper winterizing effort can come back to haunt you as the engine gets older and can wear out prematurely.  Unless winterized properly, moisture, acids and corrosion can continue to attack your engine unabated.  Winterizing your boat's engine is one job that is truly critical to the longevity and peak performance of your boat for years to come.
 

Shrink Wrap and Storage
In addition to winterization, further protect your investment by shrink wrapping the boat to shield it from the winter elements.  For your convenience, Islander has 2 service locations to serve both the North and South Shores of Long Island: West Babylon, at our Bergen Point Yacht Basin, where we can accomodate hauling boats up to 50 feet, and Port Jefferson, conveniently located directly across from the Boat Ramp.  And now, East end boat owners can store their boats at our sister location in Noyac at the Hidden Cove Marina.  See our locations pull down above for information and directions.
