Mike Koblein was a Salesman that worked for one of Islander's Manufacturers during Islanders first years in business and John always likes to tell the story of how much he learned about sales from Mike. Mike was more than a Salesman, He was a Friend too. Every year, John remembers Mike with the MIKE KOBLEIN AWARD FOR SALES EXCELLENCE.	Warren Barabash was one of John Scoglio's best friend's. He came to work at Islander on the request of John and not only looked after the Service Department, he also took care of Islander's Customers. When he passed away in 2003, John made sure he would not be forgotten and created the WARREN BARABASH SERVICE AWARD
